Our new Diversity Sports Partnership tournament took place this year at Mayespark Primary. Both our KS2 mixed football and tag rugby team took part and reached the finals after group stages and semi-final matches. The mixed football team won the final against Cleveland and tag rugby team won against Gordon respectively.
Well done to all the children who took part and representing team APS.
This year's West Ham United FC Foundation tournament took place on Monday, 15th November 2021 at Jo Richardson School. Eight schools from different Borough's took part. We played 7 games and won all 7 including the final 2 - 0. The girls also had chance to meet the players of West Ham United FC women' team.

This year's Redbridge School Games Tag Rugby competition took place on Wednesday, 17th November 2021 at Wanstead Rugby Club. We entered two teams. Aldersbrook 1 played 5 games and won all 5 and Aldersbrook 2 played 5 games, won 3, and drew 2 in the group stage. In the semi-final it was Aldersbrook 1 against Aldersbrook 2. Aldersbrook 1 came on top and reached the final against Oakdale and won the match to be crowned champions. Aldersbrook 2 beat Chadwell for third place.
Well done to all the children who took part and Mr Hussain and Vic for coaching the team.
This year's KS1 mixed indoor sport halls athletic competition took place on Wednesday, 3rd November 2021. All together 12 schools took part in track and field event. We came 4th place out of 12 schools.

This years Redbridge SSP girls football tournament took place on Wednesday 20th October 2021 at Caterham High School. We played 7 games altogether; won 6 and drew 1 to finish joint 1st place. ​We are proud of the team for their teamwork and spirit of the game attitude throughout the tournament.

We would like to invite you to our next coffee morning which will be held on Friday 3rd December in the KS1 hall from 8:30am - 9am. The focus of the session is ‘Using IT with Children’.
The aim is to provide you with a breakdown of all the online resources we use for homework, logging in, some top tips and other free resources you can use at home to support your child’s learning.
As the session begins at 8:30, you can drop your children off to Soft Start before attending. Refreshments will be provided. We hope to see you there!​
Dr McKelvey visited Year 3 today to talk about her job as a Scientist. She also introduced Year 3 to their new unit 'Magnets and Forces'.
