    This year's Langdon SSP girls football tournament took place on, Wednesday 9th February 2022.

    We played 8 games altogether; winning 5 and drawing 3.  We won the final 1-0 against St Joachim.

    Our year 5/6 mixed handball team won the Diversity Sports Partnership tournament, which took place on Tuesday, 8th February 2022. We won the final 4-3 against Gordon School. Well done to the all children who took part.

  • GIRLS FOOTBALL TEAM COME 2ND PLACE!

    This year's Langdon SSP year 3/4 girls football tournament took place on Wednesday, 8th December 2021. 

    We played six games altogether; won 5 and lost 1. In the final, the only game we lost was on a sudden death penalty shoot-out. We are very proud of the team for this fantastic achievement!

  • THE ROAD TO WEMBLEY BEGINS!

    This year's Leyton Orient FC Trust club qualifiers took place on Friday, 26th November 2021 at Ive Farm Sports Ground. Ten schools from different Borough's took part and had a chance represent Leyton Orient FC in this year's EFL Kids Cup Southern section. We played 3 games in the group stages, winning 2 and drawing 1 to finish top; and qualified for the semi-finals.
    We won the match 1 - 0 to reach the final against Greenleaf Primary. The game finished 0 - 0 after extra and went to penalty shoot-out.  We won the penalty shoot-out 2- 1 and now will represent Leyton Orient FC in the next round at Swindon Football Club. We are so proud of all the children who took part and also would to thank Mr Hussain and Vic for coaching the team.​

    Team as follows; Mikel (c), Maria, Kedyn, Musa, Daniel K, Curtis, Matthew and Dylan H.

  • DOUBLE CHAMPIONS!

    Our new Diversity Sports Partnership tournament took place this year at Mayespark Primary. Both our KS2 mixed football and tag rugby team took part and reached the finals after group stages and semi-final matches.  The mixed football team won the final against Cleveland and tag rugby team won against Gordon respectively.

     

    Well done to all the children who took part and representing team APS.

  • GIRLS FOOTBALL TEAM WIN WEST HAM FC FOUNDATION TOURNAMENT

    This year's West Ham United FC Foundation tournament took place on Monday, 15th November 2021 at Jo Richardson School.  Eight schools from different Borough's took part. We played 7 games and won all 7 including the final 2 - 0. The girls also had chance to meet the players of West Ham United FC women' team.

    Well done to all the girls who took part.​
