Year 6 had History off the Page visiting Aldersbrook this week, to help us experience what life would have been like living in 1897 at the time of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee.

In the morning we had a school room session where the children experienced what it was like at school during the Victorian era.

Then we had an artefact session where we sketched genuine Victorian artefacts. After that we were given suitcases of Victorian characters to investigate.

In the afternoon, we made toys that Victorian children would have played with.
