In Year 5, we were lucky enough to attend a workshop called 'Exploring Drawing' at the National Portrait Gallery. Our artist, Chloe, was absolutely amazing! She taught us different techniques for creating Self-Portraits. We got to practice those techniques at the Gallery where Chloe gave us lots of direction to help us improve our work. We also got to discuss the styles of many different artists whose work is being exhibited at the gallery. We were really excited to see a portrait of Malala as we had been learning about her during International Women's Week at school. Overall, it was great day!
