4th update from APS in China

Please see below our fourth daily missive from the east!
Hi all,
We started our day with a visit to Chongqing Jiaotong University. Here we were given a tour by a graduate and two doctors. We had the pleasure of meeting some students who supported our children with a range of activities including building timber bridges without nails, solving luban locks and creating model farmhouses. The children had a great time and received gifts and certificates for their participation.
After a lovely lunch and some time to recuperate, we visited the Eighteen Stairs Market. We were surrounded by beautiful goods, both traditional and modern. The children relished the opportunity to spend their Chinese Yuan, buying thoughtful gifts to return home with. We continued on through the city to visit a monument which showcases the former maximum height of a building in Chongqing. We were all amazed by how different the city around the monument is today. We continued on our travels, before the children were pleasantly surprised when they were taken to a restaurant that served some of their comfort foods for dinner. The children took full advantage of the occasion before engaging in an intense game of UNO with Mr Palmer.
On our journey back to the hotel, we stopped to see a popular tourist location. A building that the light rail train travels through! We debated whether or not we would live in a building like that, before returning to the hotel to prepare for our last full day tomorrow.
