2nd update from Chongqing

Please see our 2nd daily update from our guys in China!
The children appreciated a cooler, but still hot day in China today. In the morning, we had the pleasure of visiting Shanhu Kangheng Primary School. We took a tour of the school grounds, looking at their school allotment and tasting some delicious and juicy loquats. We followed this up by taking part in the school's morning tai chi routine with hundreds of children outside. The physical activities continued with an amazing show from the Shanhu Kangheng children, where we saw a martial arts display and heard some native traditional tales. Next, our lovely children engaged in their own challenging martial arts lesson where they were put through their paces. They were able to relax with a calming Chinese writing lesson, where they guessed the meaning of symbols before attempting their own and trading with their new friends.
In the afternoon, we visited Shanhu Zhongtie Primary School. We instantly took in part of a graduation basketball game, before the children played a range of ice breaker PE games. The children also experienced the schools AI-assisted outdoor PE area, which was amazing. They welcomed a return to a cool classroom for a Chinese painting lesson, where each child sat on a table with 3 native children and attempted to paint loquats using one of two different techniques. Even Ms Brown & Ms Medele couldn't help but get involved! After enjoying some lovely cakes and receiving more gifts from the lovely children of Shanhu Zhongtie, our children attended an advanced AI lesson, which was a brand new experience for them. We enjoyed a football match with staff and children from Aldersbrook and Shanhu Zhongtie, with Mr Gibson's team coming out on top; before creating our own beef gyōzas before dinner.
